Off Track Activity

Not all our activities
take place actually on the race track

Although clearly a large part of our activities are going to be focused on or around the race track, we also conduct a number of activities to support our beneficiaries away from the race track. These activities take a variety of forms, large or small, but all providing benefits to those involved.

Race bike builds and maintenance

To be able to compete we clearly need race specification motorbikes and rather than purchase motorbikes already built we use road going bikes and convert them to the required specification in-house. Whether these be our high end British Superbike Championship race bikes, or those for learning to race on and competing at a Grassroots level, this provides opportunities for our beneficiaries to get hands-on in a much less pressurised environment. The beneficiaries learn many motorbike engineering skills and gain deeper knowledge, as well as be afforded the opportunity to gain the satisfaction in seeing their end product circulating on the race track. Maintenance is an essential part of what the team does to keep the bikes up to standard.

Dedicated to Making a Difference

Social contact network

Becoming part of the team provides beneficiaries with access to a supportive and inclusive social network where they can connect with others who share similar experiences and interests. This network fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie, offering both group discussions and one-on-one conversations that encourage open dialogue and mutual understanding.
Through these connections, beneficiaries can freely share their thoughts, challenges, and successes with like-minded individuals who truly understand their unique perspectives. This shared environment not only helps to combat feelings of isolation but also creates opportunities for building lasting friendships and support systems.
Additionally, the organisation offers a safe space where beneficiaries can seek advice, share coping strategies, and explore solutions to personal issues they may be facing. By engaging with a community that values empathy and shared experiences, members often gain a renewed sense of purpose and confidence, which can be instrumental in their personal growth and overall well-being.

Sign posting and awareness

While we do not claim expertise in managing the complex physical and mental health challenges our beneficiaries may encounter, we are becoming adept at recognising many of the initial indicators that suggest intervention might be needed. Our strength lies in our ability to connect beneficiaries with a trusted network of specialist organisations equipped to provide tailored assistance allowing them a direct path to the appropriate support services.
We actively foster an environment of understanding and openness, encouraging beneficiaries to speak about their experiences and seek help when necessary. By maintaining strong relationships with expert organisations, we not only provide timely guidance but also contribute to creating a safety net that promotes resilience and long-term well-being.

Raising awareness

By participating in and exhibiting at events beyond the racing circuit, we have the unique opportunity to spotlight the impactful activities we offer to Wounded, Injured, and Sick UK Armed Forces personnel and Veterans in need. These events enable us to share inspiring stories of our beneficiaries’ achievements, showcasing the transformative power of our initiatives. Additionally, we aim to shed light on the challenges faced by members of the military and Veteran community, fostering understanding and support while advocating for their needs. This, in turn, provides our beneficiaries with an additional opportunity to reconnect and engage with the team, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the sense of community.
